Not too long ago, I introduced you to Lisa at Mother Earth Baby when I reviewed the FLIP disposable inserts. You can read that review
here. If you have read that review, you know that I think that it is such a great company and that Lisa is absolutely wonderful! When she sent me the inserts to review, she also sent me a pair of Blueberry Trainers to review. I was super excited! It just so happened that Maggie was on her potty training kick at the time and was doing awesome, so I loved having some underwear to put her in.

Mother Earth Baby is family owned by Lisa and Nathan. There are currently two storefront locations, one in North Syracuse, and one in Oswego, NY. Mother Earth Baby offers a full selection of cloth diapers and natural baby products. If you are in the area and interested but need more information, you can set up a personal consultation to find out what is best for you. They also offer classes and workshops, and recently added a baby registry and a cloth diaper service to serve Central New York. If you aren’t in the area, shop the website for some fluffy goodness! If you have questions, call or email with your questions – they are happy to help you! They have been using cloth diapers with their family for the last 12 years and still have one kiddo in cloth diapers. They take great pride that most of the products they sell have also been used on their own children so they can share their personal experience with you.
If you have a potty trainer, or are going to be getting to that stage, read on! Blueberry Trainers are
training pants that feel and look like real underwear. Not only that, they are adorable! I still can’t decide which ones are my favorite – my daughter is potty training, but I love the traffic and dinosaurs prints – ahh, when the little guy is ready!
These trainers have an inner lining made with cotton velour, and a hidden layer of super absorbent microterry and PUL. The waist, leg bands and outer layer are 50 % cotton and 50 % polyester. The hidden soaker is 100 % polyester and the inner lining is 80 % cotton and 20 % polyester. And…they are made in the USA! Because these trainers are only partially waterproof, they will contain small accidents, but are not designed for naptime or overnight.
Blueberry trainers are available in 3 different sizes.
Small fits 22-28 pounds
Medium fits 25-35 pounds
Large fits 32-42 pounds.
Maggie is just a little peanut, and barely even hits the 22 pound mark. We received the Blueberry swirls in a small to review. I was a little worried about how they would fit Maggie since she was barely at 22 pounds, but I was pleasantly surprised that they fit her great! The Blueberry trainers are quite soft. They definitely feel like regular underwear. When she does pee in these underwear, they hold the pee pretty well, but she can immediately feel that she is peeing and will tell me uh oh! That is important. I want her to feel it if she is wet. If she pees a lot though, these underwear won’t hold it all, which is the point!
Because these look like real underwear, they should pull up and down like real underwear, right? And they do! Maggie just turned 2, and dressing and undressing isn’t something that comes easily to her just yet but once I showed her how to hook her thumbs inside the waistband, she was able to pull them on and off mostly by herself.
I love how cute they are! The pattern we have would be great for a boy or a girl! They are so soft, I would even wear these underwear! They are not waterproof, so if you want complete protection, you will need a cover over these. Even when she had a stinky mess in these, the underwear contained the poo – very important, am I right? They do need to be pulled down, so it can be a bit of a mess if they poop in these. It isn’t too bad, unless your child does what Maggie did and wiggle and jump and protest until she steps in it – ugh!
If you are looking for some trainers for your little potty trainer, these are perfect! Of the trainers we have tried so far, these are my favorites because they are so similar to regular underwear and helps them learn their skill of pulling their underwear up and down all by themselves.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Blueberry. Good to know they have trainers. We’ll need them soon enough. Like Maggie, my little one is on the smaller side so it’s nice to know that their trainers will be a good fit.
I have a couple of these and love them! Thanks for sharing!
I’m thankful for my family’s good health and happiness.

I’m thankful for the baby growing inside of me now! 🙂 I am also thankful for my wonderfully supportive husband, and all of my family back home that is so supportive of us while we are away from home.
I’ve heard great things about these trainers. I’m thankful for getting to stay at home with my baby 🙂
My tip with potty training is to wait until they are interested and ready. I don’t even start mentioning the potty until they start wanting to go with me, or sit and try. Any time before then is futile!
I am thankful for baby smiles when I have to get up early to nurse her, random hugs from her sister, and the friendship of my husband. 🙂
My tip is to start early! I had my baby half trained since he was 3 months-old. By 12 months, he was fully trained! I was loving it!
I am so thankful for a healthy family 🙂
I’m thankful that I live next to my parents while my kids are so small!

I am thankful that I have such a wonderful family and a hardworking husband to support us all since I am currently a SAHM.
On a side note, I first ordered from MEBaby a few months ago and loved my products so much I decided to take the drive down there (an hour away) and check out the store! Wonderful! So many products to choose from at great prices and excellent, friendly help!
That is awesome that you got to drive down there! They are awhile away from me.
1) I’m thankful for a healthy baby girl welcomed into our family in September.
2) My foolproof potty training tips are- EC, Terry Crane’s Potty Party and Potty Power DVD. My first two children were a nightmare to potty train. I didn’t even finish potty training my first child on my own, my daycare provider had to take over for me. It took many months and tears all around. With my next two potty trainers, I practiced part time Elimination Communication from about 6-8 weeks. They actually stopped going potty for me at all after a while but I did my best to be laid back about it. I think that’s the key to the whole thing: don’t stress! 🙂 Then when we decided to make potty training official we got Terri Crane’s book, threw them all out potty parties and watched Potty Power during the parties. Those kids were pretty effortlessly trained. My son learned in a few days and my daughter in a couple of weeks. New baby girl will also be EC’d, given a potty party and we’ll watch Potty Power. It’s a no-fail combo for us.
Great information! What did you do for your potty parties?
I don’t have any potty training tips because my first is 6 months. I’m glad other people are leaving their tips!
I don’t have any tips as we’re not having much luck with our daughter yet. 🙁 Looking forward to seeing what others suggest though.

I bring my son to pee a lot, and he wears undies during the day. He still poops in them, but I catch it quicker, and find it easier to clean up than a diaper. I am thankful for the new coming baby that God has blessed us with!

i am thankful for my healthy family and a solid roof over our heads
I’m thankful for family and life. We have gone through some tough times this year, and the arrival of our son in June has been the only bright spot in the midst of the other issues. We have grown closer this year than ever before and even though we have had a lot to deal with, we are still all together.
I’m thankful for Savior that loves me unconditionally, a husband who is loves the Lord, and two amazing little girls.
