My kids love maps, atlases, and anything that resembles either of them. I’ve been checking out a few different children’s atlases to see which one we would like the best. I fell in love with this one. I love how it tells you about different climates, habitats, etc. and that at the bottom of each of the pages it has a few items for you to look for in the maps toward the back of the book. It’s such a fun way to really bring the information they just read about to life. BUT I think my favorite part of this atlas is the world map section on each of the different map pages. Not only does it show you Africa, for example, but at the bottom of the page, in a section that says The World, it shows you where Africa is on the world map, making it easier for the kids to relate to the big picture. I hope these pictures make it easier to see what I’m trying to share with you. We just love this and it’s so much fun looking at all of the different things that represent the different regions.
