I love the library because I go to pick up the books I have on hold and just casually scroll through the aisles to find what books are calling to me today. One recent book I found that I had to purchase to add to our collection was Cardboard Box Engineering. Not only is this a fantastic way to repurpose the many boxes that acquire doing the holiday season, but it’s so much fun for kids.

Whatever level your kid may be, this takes cardboard box way beyond just building awesome box forts. From simple designs to moving vehicles onto serious box games, your kids will have tons of fun here! I’m going to add in some really cool cardboard box accessories that we love! One is the connectors and the other is this awesome electric cutter for boxes. I actually discovered this for myself because I use boxes for packaging for things I ship for my craft business regularly and wanted to see if this was actually more efficient than using a box cutter – it was and it’s amazing! Obviously, use this with caution based on your kids skill level and ability to use something like this. My kids have had power tools in their hands forever so I had no concerns.
