Books We Love: Ted and Friends

I thought teaching my daughter to read would be really difficult. It actually went so much better than I was expecting. We were using the Usborne Very First Reading Library as our reading program. We were going along quite well, up to book eleven when this light bulb went off in her head. She suddenly realized she could read anything and everything. It was such an eye opening experience and I loved watching her realize that there is an entire world around her that she can read! Lately, she’s been reading Ted and Friends almost every day. Ted and Friends is a collection of phonics readers. Each story is created in consultation with a language expert. This collection of fun stories is endless fun for my daughter. The accompanying CD retells the stories so your child can read along.
