Let’s face it – dishes are a nonstop job. There are only 4 of us, but it sure feels like more when I set foot in the kitchen. It seems like the sink and dishwasher are always full of dishes. It probably doesn’t help that the kids have their dishes in their own cupboard….and regularly take them out to play. Which usually results in rewashing their dishes, but even without that, we go through a lot of dishes every single day. I was so tired of pulling out my dishes only to find that they weren’t clean. We have hard water and end up with a grungy looking film on the dishes even after they are washed. Checking out the new Cascade Platinum Pacs sounded like a great idea to me!

Now, let me start by saying, we also have well water and John is extremely crazy about making sure there isn’t food left on the plates when they go in the dishwasher, so I won’t show you any awesome pictures of stuck on food, but, I will show you a fantastic picture of what Cascade Platinum Pacs did. This picture was taken after only using one pack and I was very impressed – I even made John look because I was sure I was just seeing things!

What makes Cascade Platinum so different? The advanced triple action pacs leave your dishes spot free and helps to prevent hard water film build-up on your dishwasher walls. {Use a dishwasher cleaner to remove previous build up} I was skeptical that switching detergents would really make a difference, but I was shocked! They were actually spot free and I was very happy about it. This is after using 2 or 3 pacs. You can see the difference in how our dishwasher looks.

Gail Simmons, top chef judge and editor of Food + Wine Magazine has partnered with Cascade to show why presentation of food is just as important as preparation of food. Be proud to show off your meals and desserts now that your dishes will be sparkling clean. That layered brownie raspberry dessert that I love to make will look so delicious in my giant glass bowl now that it is spot free and shiny. You can learn more about their partnership by visiting Cascade on Facebook or YouTube.

Best of all – Cascade wants to giveaway some stuff! Right now, they are running an Instagram photo contest and you can win just by showing off how sparkly Cascade makes your dishes! Each week, 2 contestants will win a new Whirlpool dishwasher. One very lucky reader will win a $10,000 KitchenAid Kitchen Makeover and a year supply of Cascade.

We’re also loving these Cascade Platinum Pacs! They are SO much better than our previous brand. I’ll definitely be buying them in the future.

Me too! I was surprised by how much I like them.
I’m so excited to see others are loving this new Cascade as much as we do! It has really saved our dishes 🙂
I know, I never realized the spots on our dishes were from hard water. Should have been a no brainer for me, but obviously I didn’t put too much thought into it.
