A few weeks ago, Shannon from Cheeky Cloth sent me a fitted diaper to review for Merry Fluffy Christmas.  Now that we have had some time to review it, I want to tell you all about it.  In case you have forgotten, I LOVE fitteds, and it is a recent love.  

We received a One Size Organic Bamboo Fitted Diaper in the “red hat” print (think Dr. Seuss).

The diaper:
One size designed to fit from 8-35 pounds
Crossover snaps for skinny little babies
3 snaps on each wing to keep diaper secure
3 different rise settings
 Outer layer of 100% cotton knit
Hidden inside layer of bamboo fleece
Inside layer is super soft organic bamboo velour

Soaker:
Contoured, petal design
4 layers of organic bamboo velour on each soaker!
4 layers of bamboo fleece 

 There are 2 soakers sewn together at one end for quick drying
Soaker snaps into diaper and stays attached during wash, and snaps are hidden under the soaker so they never touch the baby

What do I think?
First off, I love bamboo.  And, I love fitted diapers.  Bamboo fitteds are kind of my new thing.  I love how soft this diaper is.  I have no doubt that Maggie and Charlie like wearing it.  The elastic is really gentle and never leaves red marks on their skin. The diaper is really absorbent and works well for us overnights, although it’s so cute, I prefer to put it on him during the day when I can see it.

Once in awhile, the area where the soakers are sewn together and attached to the diaper doesn’t get completely dry as fast as most of our diapers.  I generally just hang it for a few hours and it is completely dry.

We get a great fit with this diaper.  Both kids get a good fit on both the medium setting and the largest rise settings. I have noticed that the wings don’t quite lay flat when the diaper is on, but that is just a look thing, still works great.
