Cheering our team on with Rachel Beth’s Cloth Creations {+Giveaway}

It’s probably no secret that I love cloth diapers.  I really love having diapers that not just everybody has.  When Rachel said she would send me a custom hand painted Green Bay Packers cloth diaper, I was beyond excited!  I love the Packers, even more than I love cloth diapers (yikes, can I even say that?).

Rachel Beth’s Cloth Creations is run by Rachel – mom to two boys.  Rachel loves to keep busy and is a full time sign language interpreter and a leader in the church.  She has allowed her love of sewing things for her family and others to grow into an obsession.  She strives to promote the love of cloth and has converted several friends to mama cloth and cloth diapers.  Rachel is a very busy mama who is always trying to find the next great project in her {lack of} spare time.

While cloth diapers are always fun, Rachel Beth’s Cloth Creations offers much more.  You can find rice buddies, wipes, fleece longies and covers, mama cloth, children’s bedding, and whatever else she decides to make.  Rachel does something that makes her stand out from the crowd.  Custom hand painted cloth diapers!  Yep, I just said that!

Diaper construction:
Style – Pocket diaper with front opening

Closure – Snaps – single row of 12 across with 2 snaps on each wing
Outer material -PUL
Innter material –  Suede cloth or pink or brown microfleece
Insert – quad fold of flannel and microfiber
Manufactured in the USA
ARV – $19.00

This diaper has held up awesome!  When it arrived and I checked out the hand painted design, my worry was that it would fade or wash out quickly.  I actually had somebody ask me if I could wash it which made me laugh because, well, it’s a diaper, of course I can wash it.  The single row of snaps make it very easy for daddy’s or caregivers to use.

The diaper is very trim when on which I LOVE!  It is narrow between the legs which is another plus in our opinion.  The 3 rows of rise snaps allow for a good range of fit.  The insert has done well by us and I’m not afraid to use it when we go out and about.  I almost always pack this diaper in the diaper bag.

Washing is simple, unstuff and wash.  Because the insert is different than so many others, it’s easy to pick out of the basket when I’m stuffing diapers.

At $19.00, for a hand painted diaper that has held up with no signs of wear, I like the price.  The diaper looks great!  Made with a suede cloth inner and matching tabs for contrast, I love the look.  The wings are rounded instead of square like many diapers. Most of all, I love the Green Bay Packers logo.  I haven’t had a suede cloth diaper before, but I like that it doesn’t stain as easily.

Because the diaper is trim, it is a little harder to stuff the insert in.  The pocket opening is plenty big, but when stuffing it between the leg area, it is pretty tight.  From our use of the diaper, that is the only downfall, but I will take it for the trimness.  Fitting jeans over his little fluffy tush isn’t always easy.
