Last year, I started a garden and we all loved it so much.  This spring, John and I agreed that it had to be bigger and better.  He put in plenty of man hours to get it ready for me to plant including shoveling dirt, putting up the new fence and making it bigger.  He even put up an archway into our garden.  After work each day, he brings home some rocks from the job site to put around the garden.  I really love the finished product, don’t you?!

Knowing how hard John works at his job and how the days are really long for him, I really appreciate when he helps with big projects that are tougher to do with 3 little ones.  There isn’t a single day that I take for granted how lucky I am to be able to stay home with them and watch as they reach new milestones, learn new skills, share in their successes and wipe away their tears.  This father’s day, I wanted to show him just how much we appreciate what he does for our family.

He’s been saying for awhile now that he wants new clothes.  While he loves all of his Harley clothing, he is quite sick of wearing black and wants to add some color to his life.  The kids and I decided to make him a Day Out for Dad Gift Package so he could look good, smell good and have a night out.  I remember when we first started dating, he smelled so good!  I thought we should start out with some cologne for him.  While the kids and I were enjoying the different smells, I wanted to get him a cologne that encompassed who he is. Did I mention we also added in something fun for him for Father’s Day?  We had picked up this big old remote control mud truck at a garage sale a few weeks ago and I knew he would love it.  I know he will love having a guilt free night out, and we will all have fun watching him drive his mud truck through the yard.  

I’m not exactly sure what we will be doing this Father’s Day, but if the weather holds up, you will probably find us out on the boat soaking up the sun.  I love knowing that no matter what we do, he will smell amazing!
