Hey little man.  Keep being awesome, okay?  You are growing so much!  At your 6 month appointment, you weighed 18 lbs 6 ounces and were 27.5 inches long.  Such a big boy!

You are up on your hands and knees quite a bit, or maybe I should say your hands and toes because you do that even more often.  It looks like you are doing push ups or the plank.  It’s pretty fun to watch.  You have such a long reach and reach anything you see.  Just the other day, you spilled my entire bowl of cereal on my lap.  You roll all over the place, and scoot backwards or catapult yourself forward to get what you want.

I love watching you and Maggie together.  You think she is so funny and giggle at her, which makes her giggle, which just cracks me up.  Or she thinks you are funny and starts giggling which makes you giggle, which still just cracks me up.  I am so glad you two are close in age, you will always be fun to watch together.

You have been a busy boy this month getting those bottom 2 teeth.  Your top 2 are just about in, but haven’t quite broken the skin.  I sure wish they would (really, I’m nursing, I may regret that statement), but you are having the toughest time sleeping.  I’m getting worn out!

You are chattering a whole bunch.  It’s so awesome to listen too. Once in awhile, you even say mama.  Not too often though.   If you are in the wrap and I”m on the phone, you have a tendency to talk very loudly!

Your hair is getting darker and thicker.  You look so handsome.  You still smile all the time, even with those pesky teeth. 

You have been really attached to me lately.  You don’t want anything to do with anybody else for the most part, unless I am right next to you.  I can’t figure out if it’s from the teeth or just your age.

You have started eating some foods, although we aren’t real consistent with giving them to you yet.  Some days, it’s obvious you want some, others, you don’t seem interested at all.  You seem to like most foods.  We have given you some purees, mommy was awesome and even made them herself.  I’ve given you some small bits of food and you look so cute feeding them to yourself.  You get them in your tiny little hand, and then, you put your whole hand in your mouth, or try to at least.  It’s adorable to watch.  Just tonight, you had hamburger and really seemed to like it.  You do make me nervous though, you gag and choke much more often than your sister did and it scares me!  And, as far as I can tell, Blueberries are your favorite!  You love eating them in the mesh bag. 

You love playing peekaboo and look around whatever I’m using to try and find me.  It’s adorable.

Oh yeah, and just the other night, I sat you down in the bathroom while I ran the water, and you pulled yourself up to standing!  You are growing up way to fast little mister!  I just want to hold you all the time so I don’t miss anything! 

You also got to meet my very bestest friend Katie.  I am so happy you got to meet her, she’s pretty awesome.  

I love you so very, very much little Charlie man.  Keep being awesome, I am enjoying every minute of it.  You are the most handsome little man I know.
