You may have missed it {okay, I highly doubt that} , but I love fitted diapers.  I would love if my entire stash was made up of fitted diapers.  Having a boy has taught me the necessity of having nighttime cloth diaper options.  Along my journey, there are a few diapers I was dying to check out, and one of them was Poopsiedoodles, so imagine how excited I was when Noelle said she would send me one for review.

I am always stoked to find diapers that are just a bit different.  Poopsiedoodles are a one size bamboo hybrid fitted cloth diaper. {Wow, two of my favorite cloth diaper words in one sentence….bamboo and fitted}. With one row of 12 snaps across the front, as well as one row of 8 snaps for the fold down rise, this diaper will fit from approximately 10-40 pounds.  With 3 snaps on each wing, you will get a secure fit on baby no matter how wiggly he may be.

There are also crossover snaps to allow the diaper to fit those teeny wasted babies.  These snaps can also be used to snap the diaper together for storing when on the go, whether dirty or clean.

What makes Poopsiedoodles a bit different is that the fold down rise actually snaps down to keep it in place better.  When using the diaper for bigger babies and toddlers, the inserts snap into the fold down rise snaps so they don’t rub against baby.  I absolutely love this feature because I hate seeing red marks on Charlie from the snaps from some diapers with fold down rise.  If you need a more in between fit between the snapped down rise and fully unsnapped, you can just fold the rise down to where you need it without snapping it to the diaper.

Let’s take a look at the sizing a little bit.  

Each diaper comes with 2 inserts.  A large soaker {which covers all internal snaps} and a second double petal soaker, sewn together at one end.  The inserts snap together for maximum absorbency.  The inserts are made from bamboo fleece and bamboo fleece topped with cotton velour.  When using the fold down rise, snap the small one into the back of the diaper {as opposed to the front}, so it stays put for your little one.  When using the diaper without the fold down rise, use both inserts together for maximum absorbency.  Because I am use to diapers with the inserts snapping into the back, I have, on occasion laid the diaper backwards before I realized what I was doing, hehe.

The diaper is an adorably fun Lobstahs!  The kids love it and I have to admit, it makes me want to pretend to get them with my pinchers!  Hehe.  It is made with a cotton knit outer, a hidden layer of poly fleece between the outer print, and a soft inner velour.

With soft, stretchy elastic at the back and legs, the diaper gets a snug fit on baby, no matter what perfect size he may be.

But what makes a hybrid you ask?

The hidden layer of poly fleece acts as a repelling barrier.  The liquid hits it and sort of bounces back into the diaper and the soakers, giving them more of a chance to absorb it.

What does that mean?

That means that this diaper can be worn for longer periods of time without a cover.  The inserts absorb more of the pee before it reaches the outer layer.  Giving your child more of a chance to show off that cute fluff without getting your furniture or floor wet.

I love this diaper, in part because of my favorite feature {do you remember what that is}.  This diaper is the complete package, and one that I’m confident could fit a smaller baby without too much added bulk.
