The salve has a subtle olive oil scent. The texture reminds me a little bit of vaseline, only less oily and greasy. Plus – it is cloth diaper friendly! A must have if we are going to be using it.
With Maggie, I was really lucky. The only time she has ever gotten a rash is when she is teething. Charlie man on the other hand is very sensitive and gets rashes quite easily. I was able to test this out on both of them as it turned out. With both of the kids, the salve cleared up their rash within one to two days which is great! When Maggie does get a rash, she does not like when I run creams on it and fights me a lot. When I started to put this on her, she was fighting me, but then stopped, so I can only assume it must have made it feel better. This salve worked great for us and we will continue to use it. Like any diaper cream/salve I have, if my skin gets itchy, I just use a little on it too, and this stuff isn’t greasy on my skin so I don’t mind using it. If you are looking for a diaper cream or salve, be sure to check this stuff out. If you are looking for other great skin care products – they offer many other great options. I personally would love to check out this Winter Wellness Kit.
