I have been extremely blessed with three gorgeous and amazing kids. This last time, I am blown away by how lucky I am. I have the happiest baby in the world. I swear, he always smiles. It’s really hard to have a bad day surrounded by so much smiling cuteness. I know I’m lucky though, not everybody has a baby that is that happy.
Quite a few people I know had a baby shortly after I did and I wanted to make sure to put together a baby comfort care kit for baby.
I will share a little secret with you. I check out the clearance racks when I am at the stores and pick up new baby outfits for one or two dollars. I add them to my gift bin and always have something on hand for the new baby. It’s a great way to be able to give gifts without spending a ton. Then I can pick up some other things that I know a new mom would love to have for the new baby. Here is what we put in the comfort care kit basket.
First, I like to start with a cute basket. Something that can be used in the nursery or the living room. I collect baskets throughout the year so I generally have something cute on hand.
Now, onto the goodies. This outfit is so stinking adorable. I was bummed it wasn’t big enough for baby Henry. I also loves this blanket and it’s nice and small for snuggly newborns. Most of the time, I include a swaddle blanket instead but I just love this blanket.
I added in a keyring toy, nail clippers, a thermometer and something else I came across while I was shopping at Target. Little Remedies® Advanced Colic Relief is NEW and available at Target, and Little Remedies® Gas Drops. You can get a smokin’ deal right now on these items at Target
.Little Remedies® Advanced Colic Relief drops are 20% off on Cartwheel right now {find them in the baby aisle}. Yay for savings! And, if you buy 2 of either the Little Remedies® Gas Drops or the Little Remedies® Gripe Water {found in the digestive aisle} you will get a $5 Target gift card for your next purchase. I stuffed in some tissue paper, adding in the baby goodies and cannot wait to give it away. What a fun and useful gift, don’t you think?!
