Along with my love affair with fitted diapers comes the need for diaper covers. We don’t own too many, and definitely wanted to try out some more.

Did it work good?

Yes. This is one of our favorite diaper covers. We own a few covers that are too narrow to fully cover some of our fitted diapers. With the Sweet Pea diaper cover, we didn’t have that problem. I would have loved to have this when Charlie was a newborn because of the double gussets. The leg holes get pretty small, and he wasn’t all that tiny when he was born, so I’m confident that it would have fit him. This isn’t the most daddy friendly diaper cover, at least in John’s opinion because of the 4 snaps on each wing. Normally, I think that is excessive, but when it comes to diaper covers, I think differently. I like having more snaps because it allows for a better fit whether using prefolds or fitteds underneath.

Washing this cover is simple, and then we just hang dry the covers or toss them in the dryer with the rest of our diaper laundry. They dry so fast though, that letting them hand dry doesn’t take long at all. They even have a handy loop for hanging it to dry.

The material has a little stretch in it which made me worried about how the cover would hold up, but it is still in perfect shape. I don’t worry about anything with this cover. I know it can handle my kids’ messes and all the washes.

At $10.95, I think these diaper covers are very affordable, especially when I start looking around and don’t find many covers for less than $12.00. The price is great and they didn’t sacrifice quality to get do it.
