I have heard it a million times – the kid that is very attached to something and has a meltdown if that very thing vanishes.  Luckily, we haven’t really had to deal with that.  We came close for awhile though.  Maggie’s cousin bought her two of those dancing Elmo’s.  The things weigh about as much as she does but that doesn’t slow her down.  When she first got them, she had to sleep with them.   Now, Elmo sings ring around the rosie with her almost every single day.  His feet are like weapons when she gets crazy with him though, but that girl sure loves her Elmo.
