Today we are talking about a great supplemental resource. Whether you are homeschooling or looking for additional activities for a child who needs extra help with certain things or a child who just wants more work to do, you should check out My Teaching Library. We are currently reviewing the one-year membership to the download club and there are so many awesome resources!

Before I tell you about the amazing resources here, I want to share a bit more about what it is. My Teaching Library is a virtual library of education information, worksheets and games for Preschool – 12th grade. These include things like art, electives, languages, science, character education, language arts, math, social studies and so much more like monthly themes, bundles, the list goes on and on.

So far, we have been using this for fun activities to do because there are so many fun things to do on here!  And I’m a fan of learning without them knowing they are learning.  For example, my daughter had been doing telling time in her math and was frustrated because she really couldn’t answer the question and she knew she had learned it before.  I could tell that she had simply forgotten what she was doing so I simply logged in, searched telling time and printed out the Telling Time Go Fish Card Game for us to play.  We have been playing that with my eight-year-old as well just for some extra practice and because we love to play games.  My youngest is having fun working through the S is for Scarecrow packet and he is having a blast with it!  A variety of activities that make learning fun!

Next week we will officially start back to school…maybe…we have been so busy and they are still learning so, who knows!  I am excited though – once we start back, we will use so many more of these resources.  A few that we will do this week now that the fall leaves are falling all over are the Art Project Foilage Creations and a few other fall art ones that I added to my download page.  Another one that has a few different options that may entirely take over my approach to history is the A Day in History Education Station sheets.  I mean – what a super fun way to learn about history because you choose what exactly you are going to dig into and learn more about!

There are thousands of different activities, worksheets, bundles and more.  If you have kids who love note booking – tons of topics to choose from!  I can’t wait to keep digging in and using more of the sheets for our days.  The best part is that you can get all of this for a great price!  The one-year membership is available as well as a lifetime membership.  If you don’t want to join though, you can purchase the activities individually.  If you are like me, you will spend hours plotting and planning and printing.  If you print out the posters, you may even have some laminating fun!

See what others have to say about My Teaching Library but we love it!
