I told you all that it was time for Operation Redo my large dining room, so here is part 1, the easy part…
About 7 years ago, I was given an area rug that stayed in the downstairs of my town home. When we bought our house, it came with us and had taken up shop under our dining room table. It worked great, but I definitely wanted to upgrade. It was thin, and after my years of use, and the years before it, had acquired some stains and it showed the dog hair.

What did I think?
When the rug arrived, I had to unwrap it immediately! It was wrapped up tight and completely to prevent it from being damaged during shipment. When I unwrapped it, it was even more beautiful than I had thought it was online!
I was a bit worried that because it was hand tufted that it wouldn’t vacuum well, but that hasn’t been the chase. Because it is 100% wool, it can shed yarn fibers for up to 3 months, so we have been vacuuming often to get rid of the shedding.
The rug is so plush when you stand on it! After all of the work we had been doing to our house, it felt so good to just stand on it. Maggie carried her toys over to play on it whenever she got the chance, and even the dogs approved – they tried to lay on it every time they came inside. They didn’t like it that I kept kicking them off of it! The quality of the rug is excellent. Plus, the color is perfect. Are you wondering if the color was the same as what is pictured? Well, I think so, but take a look for yourself.
Very true to the website coloring I think. I love the subtle shading on this rug and am glad I have it to enjoy for many years. I love the 3D effect it has when you look at it. I am really excited to show it off at Christmas!

I have one of their rugs and after months of use it is still in perfect condition. The seams aren’t fraying, the rug isn’t shedding. It just could use a bath because I have four kids, but that even will wash off!
