Summer means sunshine and I’m ready for it! i recently added a note on our giant whiteboard by our table and we’ve all been adding to it as we think of fun things we want to do this summer. I thought I’d share our summer bucket list and a fun summer BINGO board.
We were suppose to be going on an incredible trip this summer but as life would have it, I don’t think it is going to work so I’m trying to make sure we have tons of other fun things to do to make up for it.
- Camping
- Camping with the horses
- Have a lemonade stand
- Hike at a new state park
- Fishing
- Ride more horses {want to guess which kid said that, ha!}
- Hang out with friends
- Set up pool
- Rock climbing
- Ride dirt bike more
- Go swimming
- Cave exploring in Iowa at Maquoketa State Park
- Find new waterfalls to explore and swim in
- Read in the hammocks
- Play lots of sand volleyball
- Fly kites
- Play baseball / softball
- Water fight
- Build a huge sandcastle
- Go to the beach
- Paddleboard a lot
- Sandbar concert { I went last year and am looking forward to going again!}
- Fireworks
- Bonfires!
- Watch movies around the fire on the big projector screen
- Watch and learn about more birds
- Weekly homemade ice cream nights
- Make cast-iron pizzas over the fire
- Play yard games
- Go berry picking
- Grow lots of food and flowers in our garden
- Go stargazing
- Camp in the backyard
