The Time Saving Way to Wash Dishes + Cascade Platinum Prize Pack #Giveaway

“This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Cascade. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.”

This past weekend, I hosted game night for some friends and family, complete with a gooey meal that is sure to stick to the pans and make clean up a disaster.  I also baked up some tasty brownies so I could share a little experiment with them.  We baked the brownies the night before, and just let the pan sit all night long.

You see, Cascade Platinum wants to save you time and make your life easier.  Get this – they want you to SKIP THE PRESOAK.  So, if you know me, putting dishes in the dishwasher with any food stuck on them gives me a complex.  I was always taught to rinse off all of the stuff before putting them in the dishwasher, so even doing this stressed me out.  No joke – you can ask my cousin – she was standing there when I was doing it and it was so hard for me to not rinse them off!  I wasn’t alone.  She was having trouble too.  Her teenage son brought his dish to the sink and was about to rinse it off when she told him not to.  He looked at her like we were crazy, after all, he always rinsed his dishes off or was reminded to do so.

So I loaded up my dishwasher looking like this, and let Cascade Platinum get to it.

Cascade Platinum gives you the ultimate in clean.  By skipping the pre-wash, Cascade Platinum sends its special enzymes to latch onto the food, breaking it down and washing it away.  If you rinse off your dishes, those enzymes have nothing to attach to.  If you are like me, and worried about the leftover food damaging your dishwasher or pipes, Cascade says, it is okay!  Most dishwashers have a garbage disposal built into the bottom of the dishwasher.

 Cascade Party

Between the homemade mac and cheese and the brownie pan that had been sitting all night, Cascade Platinum had it’s work cut out.  So, I let my guests see the before, and then we got to the fun part of playing games and visiting while the dishwasher ran.  It was really fun to visit with everybody, it had been quite awhile since we were all able to get together.  Not only that, but having all of the little kids play was fun.

Cascade PlatinumBut like all parties, they eventually come to an end, but not before I got to show off {with fingers crossed because I don’t love our dishwasher} the clean dishes.  After the ooh’s and ahh’s and the “I still don’t know if I can skip the pre-wash”, the dishes were sparkling clean.  I sent each of them home with some Cascade Platinum and Cascade Rinse Aid to try at home.

I encourage you all to do the same – pick up your own Cascade Platinum and a Cascade Rinse Aid and skip the pre-wash.  See how you and your family can find ways to spend even more time doing the things you love.  After you try it for yourself, visit Cascade and let them know what you think using #cascadeshiningreviews for a chance to win a prize pack.  I began using Cascade Platinum over a year ago, and still use it to this day.  I have yet to find a detergent that does a better job and getting my dishes clean and keeping my dishwasher clean.

I want to give you a chance to win a Cascade Prize Pack right now!  Enter below for your chance to win.
