I remember when my nephew was a toddler. He wouldn’t eat a snack without having one in each hand. It was always kind of funny to see his reaction if he only had one. Now, it’s Maggie I watch as she develops little “things” that are all her own. I feel like I should be able to think of something that really stands out with her, but I can’t. There are a few things that stand out to me, but they aren’t really habits.
As she is going to sleep, you can tell she fights it because she starts with the “I need my cup” “Cover me up” “I’m falling” (as her head slips off the pillow).
As she falls back asleep when she comes to my bed in the middle of the night, she will rub my arm or side the way I do to her to help her calm down or fall asleep.
She WILL NOT call John daddy. At first it was pretty funny. She called him John, as pretty much all children do at some point, I figured it would blow over. Then, she just kept it up. It’s been crazy!
Her latest thing though, may be the cutest. We have this kids yoga stuff from Angel Bear Yoga. She loves it! And now, when we are in the truck and Charlie starts crying, she starts doing her breathing. Arms together and up, then back down. It is so stinking adorable. She does it other times too, just randomly. Everybody just melts from cuteness when she does it.
Each week, Karine from SAHM of Drama Queens and a Prince link up for Tuesdays Toddler Tales. This week’s topic is Funny Toddler Habits. Next week’s topic is St. Patrick’s Day fun. We hope you will link up with us!
Oh how cute with the yoga. Can’t wait for your review, my daughter would love it.
I’m sort of glad it has taken me this long to get it written because she is cuter and cuter with it every single day!
This is such a fun age with little ones. My son is almost four and I am loving every minute watching him learn and grow!
