As a mom, I think that sometimes you forget to do nice things for yourself.  This Christmas, let’s change that.  There are a few companies that I have worked with in the past and fall in love with because there products truly are amazing.  Cariloha is one of those companies and I can’t wait to share the products that we are reviewing today.  Cariloha is a one of a kind store where every product is made with bamboo.  I love bamboo.  Know why?  It is soooooo incredibly soft.  Not only that, but bamboo is a renewable resource.

Cariloha Bamboo™ fabrics are made from bamboo viscose, rayon from bamboo, polyester from bamboo or bamboo charcoal.  If you have never felt bamboo, you will be amazed by the softness of the fabric.  The first time I ever owned a bamboo swaddle blanket for my now 3 year old, everybody that touched it wanted one.  I can’t tell you how many people converted once they felt how amazing it was.  I was actually quite jealous of my baby at times because I wanted a blanket that felt that amazing.  After all, as a mom, I deserve to be as comfortable as my baby, right?

That’s where Cariloha comes in.  Last year I had the opportunity to review a few items from their store and it was instant love.  When I knew that the Bamboo Plush Throw Blanket, Bamboo Knit Throw Blanket and Bamboo Bath Sheet were on their way here for review, I was stalking our delivery folks.  They arrived on a dreary, rainy day when all I wanted to do was lounge around {which is practically impossible with three small kids}.  I ripped open the packages like a kid on Christmas morning because I couldn’t wait to see if they were as amazing as I imagined that they would be.  They were even better and I just wanted to turn on a show and snuggle up on the couch.

The Bamboo Plush Throw Blanket is perfect for our cold Minnesota winters.  For as long as I can remember, I have slept with a down comforter that puffs feathers all over the place.  I cannot sleep without it.  I assumed that I would never find a blanket that would allow me to sleep without feathers everywhere.  Turns out I could.  This blanket is so soft and snuggly and since one of the kids peed on my down comforter and I had to sleep without it, I tested out the bamboo plus throw blanket.  I slept so well with it.  I usually keep it on the couch to cuddle up with because I really love the blanket so much.

The Bamboo Knit Throw Blanket is every bit as wonderful as the plush blanket.  It’s so soft and comfortable and wonderful and perfect.  It’s love.  I love how thin it is, yet it keeps me cozy and warm.  Whether I want to use it for travel or a nice, thin blanket in the summer when I still just have to be covered up at night, this bamboo knit throw blanket fits the bill.

The Bamboo Bath Sheet is like heaven when you climb out of the shower.  One night after the kids’ bath time, I thought I would be a really nice mommy and let the kids wrap up in it after their bath.  Never again!!!!!  They have wanted to use it ever since because, “It is so soft and snuggly.”  Their words this time, not mine, but they are oh so right.  At 40″ by 70″ it is huge and plenty big for wrapping up both the 3 and 5 year old at the same time which they thought was hilarious.  Plus, bamboo is ultra absorbent and bacterial resistant and feels like you are at a luxurious spa {you know, except for the three small humans running around}.  You will love the bamboo bath sheet so much you will want to stay wrapped up all day long unless you are wearing some bamboo clothing {you can find that review coming soon}.

Bamboo is cooler than cotton and naturally wicks moisture away from your body.  Since I am always a warm person, this is the perfect thing for me.  The fact that it is easily sustainable just makes it better.  I love bamboo so much and have since the first time I touched it.  When I first discovered Cariloha, I was really excited and now, after having the opportunity to review some of the items, I’m just in love with all of it.  If you need me, I’ll be over here with my feet up.
