They have a room with toys that Maggie loves playing with to keep the little ones entertained while you do your shopping. They even have baby dolls to demonstrate how the diapers work. I have had the opportunity to meet the owners, Patti and Martin on many different occasions. They were especially helpful when I was buying newborn diapers for little Charlie man and it was nice to be able to go touch them all before I decided what to buy.
The Motherlove Pregnant Belly Oil comes in a 4 oz glass, dark blue bottle. The pump makes using this oil so easy and quick. No digging into the tub of stuff and getting it stuck under your fingernails. The oil is so smooth when you put it on. It is lightly scented with lavender and chamomile. It has a zero rating (zero toxins) on EWG’s skin deep database. The oil is made up of certified organic herbs known to soften skin and prevent scarring. Maggie loves to copy me, so I love that it’s made with certified organic herbs with no toxins so I don’t have to worry about letting her rub it into her belly too.
All of you pregnant mamas are dying to know if it works, aren’t you? Well, I can’t speak to the stretch marks because I had so many by the time I started using this stuff. BUT…..within 2 days of using this stuff on my belly twice a day, it stopped itching almost completely! Within a week, it wasn’t itching anymore than it normally does when I’m not pregnant.
When I went to my doctor appointment one time, my doctor even commented on the smell because it smells so good! A very light smell that only smell when your belly is uncovered. The oil rubs in so nicely and doesn’t leave your hands feeling all greasy – a big plus because some of the stuff I have used, it seems like I can’t get it off my hands, and with the Motherlove Pregnant Belly Oil, I didn’t have a problem with that at all.
I WILL NOT GO THROUGH ANOTHER PREGNANCY WITHOUT THIS STUFF!!!!! I am not exaggerating, this stuff is fantastic. I wish I had discovered it early on in my pregnancy and maybe I wouldn’t have all of these stretch marks.
Plus, they are giving away a baby carrier when they reach 2,000 facebook likes! So head on over and like their page. I would love it if you let them know you are there from Mommy of One and Counting!
If you are a Minnesota mommy, you should definitely stop in and check out the store. Not near Minnesota? That’s okay, you can order online too.
Do you have a cloth diaper store where you live?
