Hold Your Head Up High

I remember when Charlie was 7 days old and rolled over.  I knew I was in trouble.  I realized when Henry was 7 days old that he had yet to really even have tummy time for fear of being trampled.  Since then, I have really made a point to have him lay on his play mat and do my best to keep the kids from sitting on him or trying to pick him up.  They sure love their baby Henry.

Over the last week or so, I have really noticed how strong he is getting at holding his head up.  Today when I laid him down to play, he lifted his head way up.  Way higher than this picture, but this is the shot I could get of him.  My strong little man.

  • That’s not trouble. When my daughter was 9 months old, and still hadn’t rolled over…..that’s trouble. I will spare you the details of visits to pediatric neurologists, painful tests, differing diagnoses……be grateful.

    • I was definitely grateful that he was learning the things he should be, but that boy is a climber, still to do this day he climbs every single thing he can find. Scares the daylights out of me regularly.

What did they determine was the reason your daughter hadn’t rolled over yet?
