iMonster No Spill Cup Review

iMonster No Spill Cup Review

We use to have a lot of sippy cups, but then when Maggie was getting her eye teeth, she chewed through the nipples on most of our cups.  That meant throwing them away and adding to our stash of cups for Charlie man.

When I saw the iMonster No-Spill Cup, I thought it was so cute with the little monster face that I had to get one.  The cup even has monster like features on the cup itself, not just the lid, but the eyes are my favorite!  I wasn’t sure at first if Charlie would be able to hold this cup because there weren’t handles, but he hasn’t had any trouble because of the easy grip base.

I like the soft silicone spout because I don’t have to worry that Charlie is going to chip his tooth or hit himself on the head with it and hurt himself because the spout is soft.  The valve opens with only a little pressure, so your child doesn’t have to constantly suck on it and damage their teeth.  The spout is designed to help promote a natural drinking action, as well as healthy oral development.  Maggie LOVES this cup.  I keep trying different cups with Charlie, but he just likes to chew on them so far, he hasn’t quite figured out how to actually drink out of them.  I feel like this cup will be the easiest of all of the cups we own to learn from because it is so easy to get the drink to come out of the spout (I tested it with my fingers just to see).

I wondered if it was really no spill, and it has held up to that name so far.  The only time we had a leak was when we hadn’t put the spout back in correctly after washing it.  Whoops!  It didn’t quite get pressed in all the way.  It’s very easy to clean, something that is VERY important with sippy cups.  I have thrown away plenty of cups because you can’t clean all of the nooks and crannies.  This one only has two pieces and they are easy peasy to clean so we can use this for quite awhile.   And, with any Nuby products, the bright, fun colors stand up to repeated use, drops, and washes while keeping their cheery colors.
