Charlie man is 6 months old already, time is really flying. He is already getting ready to crawl, and in no time at all, he will be walking, eeekkkk…. Maggie didn’t walk until just after her birthday, but I am guessing that this guy will be walking before then.
I remember when she started walking how much it hurt my back to hunch over all the time to help her walk and balance. Well, The Juppy baby walker is the answer. The Juppy helps build babies confidence and teach balance without crippling your back.
I like the easy to adjust straps to fit mom or dad’s height, from 4’11” up to 6’11“. I really like the padded hand grips so your hands don’t get rubbed raw from that baby that just keeps on going. The zipper on the back is color coordinating to match and is very sturdy, a must for something helping my baby walk. The makers of Juppy didn’t stop there, they also reinforced the back of it with two Velcro straps overlapping the zipper for added support. Because it is parent assisted, it eliminates the dangers of falling that wheeled walkers can present.
Made from 100% cotton. This thing feels heavy duty, not cheap flimsy material. The Juppy measures 11 1/2” from the crotch to the top and can hold up to 35 pounds and up to 22″ waist. Available in three different colors, black, blue and pink. Plus, you can get it engraved with a name, we chose our last name since we want 5 kiddos.
What I think….
I will let you know my thoughts and opinions, as well as those of some friends we borrowed this to. Since Charlie isn’t quite ready for this, and our friends’ little girl is, they were able to check it out. Their little girl is 9 months old. They mentioned something that hadn’t even occurred to me – the way this is designed, your baby has to rely more on their own balance than on holding themselves upright by mom or dad’s fingers.
I like that you can either unhook the straps to get them out of the way, or just move them aside as you put baby in. The inside is really soft against Charlie’s skin. I love that it saves my back from hurting. I really like that the crotch is narrow, so Charlie can move his legs just as he would if he were holding on to me.
It’s nice that you can store the Juppy in it’s own sack and easily take it with you wherever you go. The sack is silky and very pretty.
If your little one is getting ready to walk, the Juppy will be your best friend.

I would love this for our little one when they get to that stage – i like the black and yellow
My daughter is 14 months, so she doesn’t need this but baby #2 who is not here yet will, I guess I would say black and yellow since I don’t know the gender yet!!

Oh, how adorable! Considering my daughter’s tendency to dig her nails into my fingers, this would be so much kinder!
I lie blue!
What a great, informative review! I think I’d love the blue one, myself. I would use this as a babyshower gift for my cousin. My boys are 14 & 7, so a bit past this stage, but I have lots of family still having babies, and this would be a great back-saver!
Thanks for the giveaway!

These are really neat! I wish I would have known about them before my son started walking! I’m going to share with some of my friends with babies who aren’t quite walking yet!
These really do look like a back saver! I never liked regular walkers as no one had ahold of them anywhere near close, this allows for that. A baby could take off feeling safe and secure. I have 3 grandchildren 2 to 6 but 3 more & daughter’s in law getting to be the age of parenting – this would make a great part of a baby supply basket as I did for my daughter
This would be for a friend who is pregnant, and I would choose blue.

The black would be ideal, my little one is 9 months old and started standing so she will be trying to walk soon, and if we won the black we could use it for the next baby too 🙂 I love this idea!
I would use this for my new baby due in August. I would choose black because I don’t know the gender of this one and we could pass it around the family (everyone’s having babies this year!).

I have a pink Juppy and we love it!
This is definitely an interesting product. At first I thought it was unnecessary and kind of silly. But after reading the review, you made a lot of good points – I especially like the idea of balancing on their own instead of holding on to someone else’s hands…

Now this is just ingenious! It’s intuitive and because it’s not like the other bulky walkers on the market, it can go anywhere with baby. And it’s a greener alternative, too! This is a must for our little one when it’s time for her to learn to take her first steps.
I’d love to have the pink one for my niece and daughter.
This is an interesting invention. My daughter never really held onto my hands to practice walking, she just got up and walked one day. But my son, well, he is different, so we will see.
