I love having three little kids. Our days are filled with spills, messes, dirt and who knows what else. I have so much fun with our daily messes and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Most of the time, the really big messes are at home so we clean up in the tub or with the hose. When we are on the go, that isn’t always the case but I don’t want our fun to stop. There is nothing quite like watching the kids explore and examine whatever small, somewhat gross thing they find.

When we are at home, we use our cloth wipes, but they just aren’t convenient when we are out and about sometimes. Plus, I like having the option to just throw that mess away instead of bring it home. Being the reasonably crunchy mom that I am though, I wasn’t willing to make the trade-off for just any wipes. I wanted something that wasn’t filled with chemicals. I had heard of WaterWipes before but hadn’t checked them out yet. Since the kids and I had some time to kill one day, we hit up Babies”R”Us and picked some up.

If you haven’t heard of WaterWipes before, let me share a little bit. WaterWipes are chemical free baby wipes so they fit the bill so far for what I was looking for in a disposable baby wipe. Now the real test, would they be effective and what made them a safer, natural option for my kiddos. WaterWipes contain only two ingredients: 99.9% pure, Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. Okay, I was willing to give them a shot.

When I do vendor fairs, I usually have a kids table set up with a fingerprint activities book and I HAVE to have wet wipes for cleaning up messy hands. These wipes were perfect because they are thick and can clean up big messes…..and we know how to make some big messes. Knowing how easy clean up can be makes these the perfect wipes for our family and must have on all of our adventures and shenanigans. You can bet we also keep a package of them right in with our art supplies, how do they make such a mess anyways? Half the time it looks like my kids have been tattooed or maybe they have eaten a surf? Who knows, but at least they can clean it all up without any trouble.
