Christmas season has arrived, and if you are anything like me, you can’t wait to find that perfect gift. I prefer to find personalized gifts, and often try to handmake them. Piczzle
is one of those gifts. When I started designing my own piczzle, I intended to give it to the grandparents for Christmas, but as I completed the order, I realized I wanted to keep it for myself!
Piczzle is a picture puzzle service based online that manufactures custom jigsaw photo puzzles. I love the ordering process. There are many different design options, and you can add a caption. We received our own personalized 48 piece picture puzzle.
When our piczzle arrived, I was really excited to check it out. For some reason, the idea of a cardboard puzzle was making me think it would be cheap and poorly done. Why I don’t know. When I opened it, I couldn’t wait to put it together. The quality of the pieces, both in construction and print quality was outstanding! I thought when I ordered, that I would have to keep my toddlers grubby little paws off of it for fear of wrecking it. Feeling the pieces, that isn’t a concern at all. They are very sturdy pieces. The piczzle has been laminated with a glossy finish for an attractive finished product. And, they are made in the USA.
The piczzle arrives with the pieces stored in a ziplock type bag stored inside a box that has the picture on it.
I may be biased, but man are my kids cute! I LOVE how our piczzle turned out and have been contemplating buying some puzzle glue and hanging the picture on the wall, but I think it will be more fun for them to be able to put together as they grow. And, I think it would be a fun way to announce our next pregnancy to grandma and grandpa, or maybe aunts and uncles? Who knows, but this may be our fun way of announcing next time.
