For our family, summer fun means spending a lot of time out on the boat.  We recently bought a new boat, and shopping for it made us laugh.  While we were boat shopping, a family told us they were selling their boat because they had 2 young kids so they didn’t use it.  We laughed because we were looking for a bigger boat because we are having another baby. Our answer to the stress of taking little kids out on the boat?  SNACKS!   Any snack will probably do, but I like to create something different that they haven’t had before so they are really excited about it.  Our latest snack is a perfect On the Go snack, and this one was a hit even with dad!

SNICKERS® S’MORES

Ingredients:

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Chocolate Chips

Mini Marshmallows

SNICKERS® 2-to-go

 This may be one of the easiest snacks that you make.  You decide how much of everything you want to add.  I used about a half of the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.  Pour into a large mixing bowl.  Add mini marshmallows.  Chop up the SNICKERS® 2-to-go into small pieces.  Mix together.  Melt the chocolate in the microwave or stove top. Drizzle over mixture and mix again.  I always add a shot of milk as I’m melting it.  Scoop into handy travel containers for a delicious on the go treat that will refuel your whole family.

This snack pairs perfectly with 20 oz Dr Pepper bottles to quench your thirst after filling your belly.  Not only has this been a perfect snack for boat rides, but grabbing a SNICKERS® 2-to-go and a 20 oz Dr Pepper is a fast and easy snack when I am running out the door or just need something to eat. #Refuel2Go
