Sponsor Spotlight: EcoSprout *Review*

Are you excited to be introduced to another one of the Mother’s Day Prize Pack sponsors
Jared at Eco Sprout was kind enough to send me a sample of Eco Sprout detergent in my choice of scent to review. I choose Lilac Breeze and you can find out what I think about it below 🙂  And…they are offering one lucky reader the chance to win Eco Sprout Detergent!

About Eco Sprout
Eco Sprout was founded by a WAHD….that’s right, not a typo a work at home dad.  Dad wanted a detergent that could be used for all of the laundry, not just the diapers. Frustrated by trying different detergents and nothing would kick the ammonia smell, the research began.  He wanted something that was environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and 100% natural.  Oh yeah, and it had to work.  It had to really CLEAN the diapers.  After months of trial and research, he did it!  He came up with the perfect balance that resulted in clean diapers derived from natural ingredients, 100 % biodegradable and kicked the ammonia smell.

After sending out samples to family and friends, the word got out and Eco Sprout was born!

Eco Sprout is a small family run company with complete attention to quality control.  Each batch of Eco Sprout is hand made and mixed, ensuring a pure batch.  They want families to know that small changes can make a big difference.  Changing to an all natural detergent that is highly concentrated limits waste.  They continue to strive to provide earth friendly products that are natural and safe and will help families go green from the ground up!

Oh yeah, and he’s a baby wearing dad.  You can check out the awesome picture of him wearing not one, but two kids by visiting the about us section on their website.

My experience with Eco Sprout
It was love at first scent! I love that just having this detergent in my laundry room freshens it up so much.  It smells so good back in my laundry room.

The first thing I did when I received the detergent was to soak my diapers in it for hours.  It’s amazing how dirty my diapers really are when they look clean….it wasn’t pretty at all!  I left them soak for probably about 6 hours or so.  Then I washed my diapers as I normally would.  I noticed the very next day that the microfiber inserts especially didn’t smell instantly when she pee’d in the diaper.  Yay for that!  I could actually stand to smell my little girl in the morning again.

Based on the detergents I have used in the past, I would have to say that Eco Sprout is my new favorite!  I know I still need to do a soak with the rest of my diapers since the first time it was only the ones that we have worn recently.  The soap seemed to rinse out very well and we had no rash problems from trying this detergent.  Not only is this soap wonderful, but it is very affordable as well.

I would recommend Eco Sprout Soap to anybody!
