This is an easy one for me. For as long as I can remember…..I wanted to be a lawyer.
There was never a day growing up where this isn’t what I wanted. I went to college and started working toward my degree.
I transferred from the Community College to Hamline University….very awesome school! I received my degree in Forensic Sciences and Criminal Justice with Minors in Legal Studies and Psychology. I graduated and took the LSAT. Then I realized that I had no interest whatsoever in actually being an attorney. Decided I wanted to be a Forensic Psychologist (can we say Criminal Minds?). When all was said and done, I spent 7 or so years teaching and now I sell real estate.
What did you want to be growing up? Did that change or is that still what you want?
Wow! It is amazing you thought for so long ONE thing and ended up (it sounds happily!) with another. Congrats on being HAPPY!!
My Summer Blog Post for today is here!
Yes, I kind of feel like I wasted my education, but I’m okay with that.
