By the time my third baby was born, I was sure I had seen all of the books out there and was pretty sure I was wrong.  I was so wrong.  I really discovered Usborne Books back in February and wish I knew about them when my kids were babies.  Here are my top picks for baby books.Check out my top picks from the Usborne Books & More baby books. Which one is your favorite?

One big reason I love Usborne books is that not only are the books engaging and interactive but Usborne also offers a 50% replacement guarantee.  No matter what happens, you have a lifetime guarantee on your books which is great.  While the books are very durable, lets’ face it – kids can be tough on things.  Knowing you can replace their favorite book with very little out of pocket makes letting them have at it a little easier.

On the FarmOn the Farm is the perfect tummy time book for little babies. With one side in black and white and the other in color, this engaging story spreads out in front of your baby for tummy time fun. Also available in 1 2 3 Counting and Under the Sea.

There are actually three titles that are like this.  123 Counting and Under the Sea are the other two like this.  I love them because you seldom find books designed for babies in the newborn stage.  This unique design allows you to spread the story out for your baby to see and explore from a tummy time position.  One side is black and white and the other has added colors.  Not only is it a great book for young babies, but as they grow into toddlers, you can explore the scene and ask questions about the pictures:; How many sheep?  What color are the ducks, etc..  $7.99

Hush a Bye OwlGive those new baby hands something soft and fun to hold. Also available in Hush a bye bunny.

That’s Not My ElephantThat's Not My is a favorite series for babies and toddlers. With a repetitive story and different textures on each page, your kids will want the entire series.

This is one in a series of 32 {I think} books.  Each story features a repetitive sentence throughout, That’s Not My Elephant, it’s trunk is too leathery, where the last page is That’s My Elephant – it’s tail is so fluffy.  Each page has a different texture on it to engage those little hands.  With this many titles to choose from, you are sure to find one for whatever your kids love.  I love That’s Not My Squirrel, the kids love the Pony and Dog one.  What will be your favorite?  Dinosaur, tractor, princess?  Just in time for Christmas we have That’s Not My Elf.  While perfect for babies, they are great to grow with toddlers and even preschoolers and have been recommended for kids with sensory disorders.  Let these help guide your early reader with a book they can read on their own.  $9.99

Slide and See Farm

This fun interactive book is sure to delight babies and toddlers with moving parts, simple words and fantastic pictures. This is my VERY FAVORITE infant and young toddler book.  Did I mention that I love this book?  Okay, so does Henry.  It’s been his favorite since we got it when he was around 14 months old.  Each page has finger trails for their tiny fingers to follow, little finger holes for them to slide and so much more to touch and feel on each page.  Each page also has a few words {think sounds you would hear on a farm}.  My little man started saying the words on the pages and now calls it is clank clunk book because that’s what it says on one page.  I especially love how durable this book is and how even though my little man can move the slides all over, I don’t worry that he will rip it.  My 100 pound dog….that’s another story 🙁  There are 4 other titles in this line:  zoo, under the sea, dinosaurs and animals.  There are also a variety of other finger trail books, some with lift the flaps.  $14.99
